Once again, taken with a 50mm prime f/1.8 lens. Love the sharpness you can get, and the way you can play with depth of field. And in black and white, how sharp is Amorie!

    i agree Daz - prime lenses (or fixed focal lenses) really are superb...been playing with a dedicated 35mm f.1.8 lens (equivalent of 52mm on some Nikon cams) and have not looked back...they really are sharp, fast and in low light, creativity can be amazingly unbridled...

    @Palapala: I'm with you ... I tried for a slightly high-key type approach by tweaking the exposure a little in Lightroom, as I wanted her eyes and lips to take centre stage. It might be a little over-cooked.

    This is an awesome shot. The shot is sharp on the lips, but the eyes are a bit soft. If the eyes were sharp-sharp, this would have been a 10/10 shot.
