hello, this pic wasn't taken by me. It's a pic of my dad holding me a few days after I was born.
My dad turns 60 today - there is a 30 year and 16 day 'age gap' between us. He was my age when I was born.
What I really wanna know is: where is the camera that took this pic? I want!!

I also had similar thoughts when I got to 34 (the age my father was when I was born), it's even more intense when one has children already, you start thinking in terms of what memories do you have stored from your parents and what memories you're leaving behind. It's an intersection of the two images, how you perceive yourself and how you're perceived by your children as they only know you as the 30 something parent... does that make sense?
