.. that is not what you said... you said, white defines light, and dark defines black.
that my friend, is what, an extreme white-supremecy skinhead might agree with.
but, from what I know from physical science back in school, is that the colour black absorbs light, so in essence we never actually see the colour black, we see what is around black.
if that makes any sense.
