Many of the rental spaces in the Athlone (low income area on the Cape Flats) central business area have been secured by Chinese Nationals. Many of them live in the back of their shops, doing their washing, drying their seaweed, raising their children, in these slightly unliveable spaces. A new country with new possibilities; I wonder though for them if it's not a little bit more of the same?

The truth is that some Asian, when immigrating to Africa and other parts of the globe live in precarious situations, is a bit the same here in Maputo.
I think the reasons are somewhat their culture combined with factors of money,
I like the picture and the intervention of the same.
