Is that Craig Michael Wells?
Is that Craig Michael Wells?
What does the job entail exactly? Skills and degree of knowledge?
I would very much be interested in this! :)

P.S. Looking Fab Fabian
I suggest you send these question to the email address I included in the post... I do not work for injozi, I am just a messenger looking out for fellow Artists
Yay, Greer take the wheel! :-)
I am down, I am game! Anything you need from me — in a few days I'll have some breathing space to think of things and add things that might help.
I'm in! So far this year is leaving me breathless, but as the great inventor said: "You begin cutting your wisdom teeth from the moment you chew more than you can swallow". Let's plot! If we manage to figure out print sizes and number of photos before August there might be someone that can bring stuff from Moz. Big ups Greer!
cool, let's do it! I think the main thing is to get a brief out there with format specifications so we can plan ahead this time :)
Aiit — I have a project to launch in 2 days — once my head is out of the 'code'; I come back to this, yeah.
Hey, Hi Everyone!
Yeah I've been shopping around for space to host exhibitions and Now have an application form from Goethe Institute in JHB Main.
Oh yeah, you read that previous mail..
The core graphers/ or those interested in exhibiting and getting the project going, we need to get together for a brainstorming session...?
If not mistaken deadline for submission is August.
Hi Lerato
cool things. I'm in Cape Town though and guessing you're in JHB. You'll have to meet with Lebogang or one of the graphers in JHB. In the meantime please email the application my way - myself and uno are going to meet this weekend and discuss a few things relating to the Exhibition. Perhaps we could also meet on skype: I can be reached at greervalley@gmail.com
this time around, i would like to bring my network into plat, folk that made MOPP, happen.
Jeeyaaaa!
Ok cool JHB graphers, lets set a date, time, place for a creative session! I'm free and open this weekend. Choice of words. I'm available to meet this weekend.
I'm slave to the project.
lerato.letebele@gmail.com
I am in on the JHB exhibition.
Lerato, I shall contact you soon.
hey guys
The Cape Town crew has had a first meetup regarding the exhibition. Currently we're exploring using St Georges mall ( a public walkway in CT CBD) as our exhibition site. We're thinking of erecting steel boxes along the route - similar to what the traders use to exhibit their goods.
Will be in with updates.
Please join the conversation - we'll use this space as an ideas "incubator" for now.
Awesome!
Hey everyone trust all is well.
Are there any graphers willing to exhibit now first week of August 2011?
Maybe this could be a build up to the "75 annual"
I've been offered space to use free for max a week - workshop, set up, exhibit
Holler Ya'll!
Hey ya'll I'm @ Main Street Life today, if anyone is keen or can make it for a link
you could see the space as well! Holler at me

Epic....these guys have time and creativity.
voila!!!
i must have missed it ;)
let's brainstorm on how to go about doing it, yeah?
I think we have to take it outside of ourselves, by that, I mean: each 'grapher has to ask somebody else, a stranger preferably, to photograph what they have in their bags.
then part of the story would be to include who that person was (if they were willing to give that information) and how easy and/or difficult the task was.
My thoughts — what you think?
funny I was looking at something similar today poster it up on google+, this was a blog thought #idig
@ Lebogang yeah, that sounds good.
@yizzi awesome — I'll plug it end by end o' the week — I think we will need a month at the least, in my case, to man-up and approach a stranger.
@King-K (LOL, your name sounds like kin-ky): yeah, I've seen that, pretty cool and scary project to engage in.
Awesomeness can't wait...*buys "tic tac's"*
And yes @lebogang it's a mix of this girl actually calling me "kin-ky" other people calling me "king" and my second name "Kagisho" = King-K
Love the idea, I think we should do it, been wanting to for a long time but...
I don't know about asking someone else, might take a long time between choosing a person and actually convincing someone to do it, maybe even more than a month... we should still do it but it could be an ongoing project not only once off, where we could have a permanent section for uploading those photos.
As a theme that could run as soon as possible it would be interesting for us to photograph our own bags and/or items we carry, on a given day, without prior announcement, so that no one can be prepared and clean up and/or add up something. It could be announced in the morning and wherever you are you must make a photo and upload it, let's say before 2pm...what do you guys think?
@Uno, that would still be tricky — once the mind knows something is going to be done, it could still prepare.
I do think, if we put a month to it — somewhere along the line, a stranger might not be a stranger to the 'grapher but the rest of us; it could be the same people you engage with, at minimal, everyday. I also think if we engage with 'strangers' it sorts of adds more value: from the real world to virtual; almost as if the photographs are connected to something more meaningful type thing?
Okay, I might be rambling here — dam this existentialist crisis!
Your thoughts?
But, I do think themes should be in a separate place — I've scheduled a new 75 building to start in September.
@ Lebogang: Yes, I agree but I still think we should try to do a 75 grapher's items series, it's up to each one of us to deal with it in a honest or dishonest way. I think it's also good training before we approach a stranger to put ourselvels through the discomfort and experience the difficulties that might arise in certain situations. It will also be good to experiment with composition so that we don't mess up good opportunities if they come our way. I also think we should try as much as possible to ask strangers, it poses more of a challenge and I also think is more meaningful (with or without existential crisis : )
Ah, I hear you — okay, we start with ourselves; then through that we hope we be prepared to engage strangers.
Aiit then!
This is the dialogue, the conversation as it happens within the notes.

Ola, I am experiencing the same thing, the only difference is that my problem started vandag
Yo ntate Robot... can you assist us please
Diaan
Well... I haven't been on the site so much in the last 2 weeks, so it could have come and gone, but it's definitely been happening for longer than just one day. (For me.)
lebogang nkoane
Hmmm,,,
I don't know, :)
I'd need a way to replicate the problem to try and fix it. Which is what I don't know how I'd do it.
What I do know is that you can't login in more than 1 browser; it verifies cookies; session and a db token; if the combination of doesn't match. you are "not logged in"
Don't know if that says anything, but when I wake up I'll try to see if the login process is flawed.
Diaan
I just got logged out again. This time without even closing the tab. I just left it in the background for half an hour.
Incorrect expiry time on the cookie?
Khumbelo
yeh, what's happening to Diaan happens to me too. Around roughly half an hour without activity on the site i get automatically logged out.
...been happening for a while though i'm not sure if it started before or after the site maintenance.
lebogang nkoane
hmm,,,
can you try this: login; then logout: that should clear all cookies/sessions;
I don't really know how to solve this.
yizzi25
that happened to me too a while back,
but that was on the chrome browser,
firefox doesn't give me that problem.
Diaan
I'm also on Chrome, if that helps.
I've logged out and then it, no change. The problem persists.
lebogang nkoane
:(
lebogang nkoane
don't know how chrome works,
but, can you see all cookies stored from 75? if so, the expiry date should be 7 days, there should be one called 'system'.
Diaan
I manually cleared all cookies from 75.co.za yesterday to try sort this out, and today, after logging in a number of time, I have the following cookies set.
(Name, expiration value)
PHPSESSID, When I leave my browser
__utma, Thursday, 1 August 2013 09:23:59
__utmb, Tuesday, 2 August 2011 09:53:59
__utmc, When I leave my browser
__utmz, Tuesday, 31 January 2012 20:23:59
lebogang nkoane
Aiit if there is not 'system', it means it is not storing the required cookie to keep you logged in. That is something I can investigate.
Top of the head, I think it has to do with 'remember me'— but I'll investigate.
Those utma, are set prolly by sites you visit after; that have '75.co.za' as s referer and i know the editor also sets cookies to remember 'width/height' of the editor thing.
But, the lack of 'system' is telling a lot—
ta for info, I'll debug.
Diaan
Well, dunno if you changed anything, but all seems fine for the last day or so.
lebogang nkoane
I haven't changed anything— but I think, when you set the 'remember me', it sets a cookie; if you don't, it sets a session only. But, what I don't get is, why a session can't last beyond a tab-closing, so I need find out:
1. if the system deletes the session if no cookie is set;
2. or if the system needs the cookie to maintain a session;
Answers to these questions are buried in rusty old code, that scares me every time I have to look at it.
Diaan
Bizarre. Oh well, I'm glad it's back to normal for me. Yay!
lebogang nkoane
lol
