heres why i dont like shooting on location - 70% of the shoot depends on the weather [unless if you conceptualize for both if its hot and cold weather] - their faces look summery [coz you are using the reflector] but the background says something different ... and its never a good idea to have the models wear white unless the background is very dark ...
    *as you were

Edit: I dont mean this in a bad way, just thought that i would/should share this -

who's Stan1 and how do he run the CT?

on the whole agreed with George Gladwin Matsheke ; they're a tad flushed out cos of that white.

    I like the concept though

direct flash is killing this image, try side lighting the next time,
and when the sky is that grey, work a more tight portrait style.

i like the idea, but the harshness of the flash *

    best of luck
    much respect

I appreciate the feedback, the flash does tend to be a bit harsh. Just had a fixed and it came back even harder. All in all the feedback is great.

I've recently been playing around with bouncing the flash off a white reflector. It gives great results. It also softens the glare in things like shades/glasses.

You'll need a flash with a rotating head so you can turn it to the side.
