I love this photo! I just had an urge to take pics in the garden. I tracked the bee for a while. I only discovered the "preying" mantis while reviewing the pic a couple of days later.

wow. this is killa. just heard recently that bees are a dying species. and with that, probably everything. this pic is incredible-the way the sunshine cups the main parts.

I got to thinking how the flower represents the City of Gold, the bee represents the Jims & Janes that come to Joburg looking for their honeypots; the Mantis represents the ills & spills, the criminals and the enslavers (capitalist & otherwise) who disentangle the dendrons & synapses that wire our dreams.
*Shouldn't ruminate so much
