    i think most hide within their shadows, only creating more...

    its that whole idea that something or somebody's always watching or following you, sadly enough, alot of people never think its anything joyous, carefree, or good...

    Somebody once told me that I live like a shadow -- I don't want to be seen. It's a good place to hide. In the shadows. Safe.

    in life, ur shadow is the only other "person" that will always be with u thru thick n thin. the way i see it is that they are determined by light n can never be fully free. just a thot!!

    hmm,,, I've always thought that the 'shadow' is a weaker version of yourself.

    That is to say it's only there when there is light (the good times) and never there when there isn't' light, when it's dark (the bad times)*

    it follows, never leads --- always waiting for you do something.

    How do you know it's not there in the dark since you can't even see if you're truly there?

    What if it's there, and it has your back... in the dark. Perhaps that's just a shade of it in the light, since times are good.

    Sometimes you even have more than one shadow at a go... (think floodlights)

    i'd be content if shadows were floodlights. that way i'd feel like splitting into as many gray areas as safety would provide.
