& let live [1]

--- the aforementioned horrors ---

I ventured into one of joburg innercity's bad/hijacked buildings (this is one of the better ones) and was horrified at people's living conditions.

I will (occasionally) try to share some of the things I saw, but frankly some of it might be inappropriate or ill-received

more, more, more! --- or is that encore!

I've never been able to 'capture' --- the human condition suffering --- so I suppose, I could live that 'dream/nightmare' through your lense, through your eyes.

keep it strong. keep it real. too often documentary photographers just do it for the attention they get and not to show the situation. this is ill. people living in horror for true.

you hit the nail on the head makhaya...

Strangely enough, yesterday I had a discussion with 4 gentlemen [3 from Masvingo,Zimbabwe; 1 from Nazaret, Ethiopia], and each were recounting their stories of how they ended up in Jozi... as sad as some of it was, it was truly inspirational.

I discovered that one of the gents from Zimbabwe happens to live in a small corner inside of the pictured building (on a mat with 2 blankets) --- he is a a qualified educator who was into his 2nd year of a BCom Human Resources degree, before fleeing Zimbabwe.

I do not wish any attention on me for any of this... as a product of migrants, I have an idea of the gravity of this situation.

Twiggle Stix --- twice a day? I hear you there --- but can I ask that you be patient and wait for 75.Gamma (lord knows I need this out like two months ago) --- I have included a thing I called 'Books', or rather 'Books on photography' --- it will allow each 'Grapher the ability to compile 'a photographic essay' in a 'Book' so to speak.

I didn't want to mention it, but hey, sharing is caring.

*bread+butter gettin' in the way, but such is life, ye?
