can you spot the foreigner?
I think it would be interesting to do a 75 exhibition and call it "can you spot the foreigner", which would challenge people's perceptions around foreigners and xenophobia.
I have quite a few ideas...

Out of this world!
Guy you on point!
"can you spot a foreigner" --- wouldn't perpetuate the stereotype you are trying to avoid?
I mean the process of differentiating between 'people' is to look at their physical (in a visual medium such as photography) attributes --- and thus, we will be forced to dig deep into our stereotypes (even those we have laid to rest): hair, skin colour, shape of the head, nose, eyes, ears, clothes, body size?
I don't know 'bout that being a good idea --- but, it's my take. I don't know, aren't we better off celebrating our diversity?
Celebrating being the Important word in the last sentence, we should celebrate our diversity not insult it.
the idea was not to insult it, this would have been part of the celebration. the stereotypes would be challenged through photography and people may start to see the folly in their ill perceptions of others.
I don't know if any of you have ever seen some of the shows that Tyra Banks does around stereotypes, whether related to race, gender, sexual orientation etc. I was thinking around similar lines.
Nobody pointed out that Hitler was short, austrian and had dark eyes and hair until after the holocaust; but they tacitly subscribed to the Aryan race ideology. A lot of people suffered as a result.
I think this would be an opportunity for people to look at themselves and others and realise that we are more alike than we are different.
We thought we'd laid this thuggery to rest back in the 90's but it's come back to bite us.
d.o.p.e ...
