A. doesn't look very happy posing... but her expression gives more meaning to the words and title... lack of motivation or something...
One comment about the composition though, did you try another frame tilting the camera up, including more of the faces and leaving the side walk out? I think that would reduce the elements and bring her out even more... just an idea...

Nappy Head
and it's vintage. I think it's the unsusualness that gets me to perk my ears. The composition is unusual and appears to have been done expressly so. Even the context and the subject are not every day material. That's why I like this the most.
