Mundane

Mundane

The story of these tomatoes is:

For 35 years, my folks have been married. For 35 years, my Dad has wanted a herb garden. And, while we grew carrots once, and potatoes, and parsley...he never had a large section of the garden just for him [well honestly, he works too much, but that's a whole other post]. In about September 2009, he marched himself off to the nursery, bought compost etc, and began swishing it in the beach sand they call soil in their garden. He threw in a few off tomatoes, and kinda believed all would be cool. The tomato bush is now a standing joke. It is ginormous! It's waist high, and about 2m across....and produces so many flipping mato's, we may have to open a sauce company haha!

So basically, you say tomaTOE, I say tomATO......the mundane is filled with possibilities.
