bus rides are great only beacause you don't have to count people's money, and there is something about the enclosed massiveness of the bus...that seperates the rest of the commuting world. i like that sound.
when i was younger, the old buses used to have these fumes, that we'd go and smell...it used to smell just...great! you just stand there and soak up the carbon monoxide till your stomach got full.
it's a weird kind of fumes, because lorries didn't get it right,cars could never. but when that machine starts ripping out the engine, damn it! my blood just boils thinking about it.
