Moonrise

Moonrise

En route to Clarens ... open road between Warden and Bethlehem. The sun has set, and the moon is rising.

Open fields flash by.

Taken from the car, and post-processed in Lightroom. Chose to use Split Toning (pink on the highlights, bluey tone on the shadows). First time I've tried cross-processing.

Gotta say. It's quite cool.

*don't know if you got the fb/comment --- but you were right --- it has to do with messaging.

in fact it's an sql/query --- that keeps waiting -- a bad, very, bad, JOIN.

    ta for the heads/up!

This is awesome... if there were a silhouette of a figure somewhere there it would be frikken scary.

    i take it there´s more cross-processing coming?

would it be stating the obvious if one used the word ¨picturesque¨ for this imagery?...soothing photograph, though true the hues do sort of give it an eerie feel somewhat or perhaps more so the moon...mmm...

    great photo
