    You know the coolest thing about the pic, apart from the hairdo ... is the depth of field.

    No photoshop. Or messing around with the pic.

    Its straight our of the camera. I am amazed at how you think you know what lens and the camera will do, and then Wham! ... phsyics just sorta blows you away again.

    Hell, I heart photography!

    I had wanted to ask you about that - did you use a macro facility to get the sharpness or was it just standard. The depth of field is very shallow but spot on!

    @rudzani: Used a Nikon 18-200mm lens, @170mm, f/5.6, 1/500 sec, ISO 100.

    But was about as close as you can get and still focus, so I think its the 170mm that gets the shallow DoF. There's no macro specific function on this lens.
