There is pretty. And there is gorgeous.
Alrieta is pretty gorgeous.

quick question: you see that 'blue halo' towards the edge of the hair(s) --- is that through the camera or is that just how light works when 'cornered' (lack of a better phrase).
I've been seeing that a lot when I zoom into my 'graphs -- and it annoys me when I throw in some 'fill/light' (via lightroom) that I get it more pronounce.
or is it a digital camera thing --- is that what the megapixels are supposed to eliminate or the size of the sensor.
*ps: I are too lazy to ask Prof. G. Oogle

To be honest I have no idea. I think it is probably a combination of things:
1: Softness of the lens at its extremeties (used an 18-200, and the tech bods claim that it gets a bit iffy out towards 200).
2: Bright light, blonde hair, shaded areas and blue sky. Probably not metered 100% (I wouldn't know how ... smile ... I aim, compose and shoot).
3: Lightroom. Maybe I've introduced some artefacts by using Fill Light and Clarity in some way.
Other than that ... I don't really know, not having picked up on it before.
Best you ask Prof. G. Oogle.
