Been traipsing around the Peninsula for a few days, camera in hand, looking to get some landscape shots.
This is one I took near Kommetjie Lighthouse. I used a 14-24 wide-angle lens, tripod mounted, ISO 100, f/11 (if memory serves me correctly). I shot 3 images (-2, 0, +2), and then combined these images in Photomatix Pro, to generate an HDR pic of the scene.
It feels 'slightly' overblown ... but hey ... sunsets do that to you!
In general, i like. Is different.
The light blue and part of the greens in the stones is funny.
I agree with you is a Little overblown.
But i also try the same program, and no win at first. i keeping trying and trying.
