Does sex sell if the 'object' (lack of a better word) is female? Would the same effect (of selling) be achieved if the object was male? If this photograph was a photograph of le 'gearbox' (lack of a better phrase)?
if the answer is no, then it's not 'sex selling' but the exploitation of women. Assuming of course we agree that exploitation is : "The act of utilizing something in an unjust, cruel or selfish manner for one's own advantage"

nice poem, but for me this pic says nothing about the intimacy as described in the poem. it's the always welcomed objectification of black women as untamed pillars of sex that is an issue. and sadly, not only the outside world, but black women themselves have taken this as ok. for me it's not only about the pic as a photographic work of art, but the comments that followed as well. regardless though, even if it was a man and women were responded as such, i would still be disturbed. it's not just here on 75, but every single day, a black woman is seen as just boobs...or ass..or something else that takes away from living completely free. from all walks of life...not only the guys who insist on screaming "hallo baby", and crudely adding public commentary about the woman's physical features and then demanding a response, but up to the "accepted" norms of media etc. it's tiring.

the improvements in our standard of living have not perceptibly raised our standard of thinking.

check this _ the reason why i took this picture and put it on 75 _ is because she (the model or the poser ) believes that she needs to lose weight and i didn't see the point of it _ she has the nicest tits (im not gona say breast - she's not my mother or anyones mother yet) ive ever seen ( not that ive seen them, but you get the picture,ne ) _
