... Back in 2006 a friend of Mine [Tshepo Glen Mathari] got invited to audition for a design reality show. He was told he can bring a friend along but you need to bring a portfolio with, so Tshepo asked me to his portfolio and come along as well. I was not really convinced because if you get picked then you have to take unpaid leave from work. I finally went to the audition and I got picked and he didn’t - one thing I can say is that i'm forever grateful for that opportunity he supplied - I wouldn’t be the same without it...
