This Classic Sunset Image was taken with a Pin-Hole Camera I made from old 40's body.... It's the real deal and I uber dig the results (they can't be replicated period)
It's so hit or miss with the exposure, but you tell me if its worth it...?
How do you make a pin-hole cam....?
Lovely shot......
this is great...
my diana can also shoot onto the sprockets...
where did you scan it?
Orms charges R20 per IMAGE/ FRAME per scan with sprockets!
now times that by 24 or 36 images in a spool...
ridiculoso!!!!
Sthe Ng- To make a Pin-Hole camera is not that hard...... cardboard box, aluminum foil, photo paper
Making a Pin-Hole from an old camera body that can use film is not a task for everyone...
it's not easy by any means and shooting with it is a whole new ballgame...
Buchu- drum scanner is the best.... but it does not matter as long as you get it High-res
the diana is cool, but it does not get the best exposures and only exposes on 1 frame...
I don't get as many shots on a roll with my Pin-Hole cuz it shoots med-formate if you look close each image is 2 and a half frames of 35mm....
shooting film is not cheep in SA, there is no way around it... unless you are a small private distributer and that is a mission
Cool, where do i get a drum scanner?
nice
Awesome pic...
I don't like the watermark though. Detracts from the main pic. I never did understand this.
Buchu- I think they start at about 10k so if you get one hit me up and i will pay you to scan my images instead of Orms
mle- Sorry, but as if I don't know that a huge logo in the photo is distracting from the image It will take a long time for me to break down the whole reasoning behind it...
this is the basic idea for most people my reasons are based from them too-
This is the interweb people!!!
If its up and its good people will prob. steal it or pass it off as there own
(it has happened to me many times before)
I don't just do it for kicks, I do professional photography for mags' and galleries...
Enjoy and critique the images not the marketing and strategies of the photographer...
big up
