Storm* Brewing

Storm* Brewing

We had some of the most impressive storms towards year's end last year. Prime1 d'l'orange told me to stalk lightning...now while I can be a little out of the ordinary -- I ain't crazy. I did like the drama though.

That cloud looks like something from NeverEndingStory... lovely PoV... is this from your window or from the rooftop?

  2. ªßè®

siht NeverEndingStory used to make me cry. I'd hide for that flying monster and lil' magician midgets.

  3. NguJaz

abe: are you referring to that luck dragon that looked like a giant pink poodle?ante elias: it's from the terrace

  4. ªßè®

Yeah, well I was young then and I'd cry whenever I saw the unicon sunk in the mud. I'd play the video tape whenever my parents left home. Fcuk it growing up has stolen my innocence.

  5. æ

Remind me after the 'Garden Drama' to post you a reciprocal pic of this one

  6. mokete*

  8. rudzani

Love it. As a child I feared storms because my gran was afraid. She used to go under the bed and plug her ears. Now I don't mind. I am free!

  9. sypha

there's no beta backdrop like the sky...

  10. NguJaz

    sho thing æ

  11. Bafana

I didn't fear storms that much till I had to visit in the former KwaNdebele. The kids there would talk about certain grannies sending lightning to our house... did not matter where you live. I guess if those grannies had patented their GPS, they would be rich today.

    Dope Image Jaz..

  12. lebogang nkoane

err, if I told you that I can hear thunder before it 'claps' would you still be my friend?

  13. ªßè®

    But scientifically not true......cause light(3×10^8 m/s) travels faster than sound(340 km/s).....

  14. lebogang nkoane

Abe --- you are not understanding me, scientifically.

I said I can hear thunder before it 'claps' ---- thunder is not light, it's the sound after the light-ning.

now, scientifically, when lighting strikes it sends shock waves through the sky --- and then the sound comes after --- my ears can pick the shock waves just before the sound hits them.

    *googles

  15. heartwarmer

lenna, lenna I can tell you thunder is comin before it comes...mara nna i can tell just after the lightening strikes. Yah.

Rudzani you are killing me. I can just imagine my gran trying to fit under a bed. Or lona ne le o beya mo godimo ga di buckstena? haha

Oh and Abe - I adored the Never Ending Story. I won't watch it now cause I just want to keep that sweet childhood memory of it. It was one of my favourite movies then. Ah man...that giant poodle was just too cute hey.

I am only here --- to summon the Gods to bring us summer.

I need that light, that contrast, clouds --- darkness, chaos, calm,,,, the works.

*looks for that chant to summon 'rain'.
  25. seilatsatsi
