luv this space and it's simple, clean colours, that red on white is so fresh. feel like hopping up and down and all around here.

Jaz! Great. I like it. Have you tried to put a thin black border around it? The bottom "bleeds" into the frame so to say. A black border I think will make it even stronger and give even extra punch. It is an excellent photograph with great composition.

love the geometry as well. cool pic

you'd be surprised Ru. you've spoken to me about "framing" my images before; and when i was prepping this image for upload, i did frame it. when i look at it in my archives, it's framed. lemme see what's going on.

  7. rudzani

Yep, it is there now. It is really a great photo.

  8. changingtibet

oh wow, the framing adds quite a slick element. the focal point is much more heightened, real cool.

i don't know 'bout the framing though --- alas that reminds me to add some 'new functionality' on the next (gamma) version of 75 (a switch to change from white background to a black one).

Well, Lebogang, a black background would do the same thing as a border. It will make for a great feature to have for pics such as Jaz'z above (at least I think so). Those who still do handprinting and make contacts first, will tell you that the contact print seems to look better at times than the final. Some of the time it is because the contract comes framed where as the final has an option. If you do not prein the frame as well and you have a white background, the "bleed" may take something subtiley from the print. You can obviously see I am biased:-)

i'm not convinced of the framing myself. but i do acknowledge that the ledge just seemed to bleed off -- it was sloppy
in this case, the frame just anchored it

    love it. big time.

    great pic!
this is the perfect example to use to decribe composition!
    nice 1 bruf!
