TravellingMan -- Egypt [4]: Arid

TravellingMan -- Egypt [4]: Arid

most of my images from this journey were of me following ... i think someday i'll do a TravellingMan: Following Series

This is Giza, awkwardly placed above modern-day Cairo.  This ancient, vast, complex -- seemingly endless -- but as you ride the length of the desert by camel, it seems as though you can fall over the edge to the city of Cairo.  Strange thing that.

The desert winds blow the sand onto the new metropolis.

mmm...i get a sense of dry enchantment, arabian hashish mystic...

that ´following series´ sounds interesting, in a voyeuristic, journalesqué kinda way...methinks you should give it a bash...
