Soweto Green

Soweto Green

Those of you who still remember your Geography and to us who forgot.

I am not sure which clouds these are....but one of the listed i guess.

1. Cirrus: thin wispy and white. They are located high in the sky and are almost entirely made up of ice particles. These types of clouds often are seen before rain or snow.
2. Cumulus: white, fluffy and round. They are seen on nice days.
3. Cumulonimbus: tall vertical clouds. Often called thunderheads. They usually produce lightening and storms.
4. Stratus: low hanging clouds that are in layers that look like a gray blanket. They look like haze in the sky. These types of clouds can become fog if they get low enough in the air.
5. Nimbostratus: dark clouds that normally are seen when rain or snow is happening all day long.

Yo Mpumi, this must look familiar, no?
I was still in your hood and the rain was merely minutes away.

  2. Mpumelelo

  3. Mpumelelo

    Damn those clouds boy!!!!

  4. Neil Acid

    lovely!

  5. Palapala

I find the photo with an exaggerated saturation. I think with the saturation earned a pretty good tone in the clouds and created a green hue too. The green blur in the bottom of the photo, drew a little picture quality.
@ Jeff, i am not critic of photography, but would like all of the 75 commented on the photos seen, so that we may grow with the opinions.
Not only when saying that we like and not like something simply not to comment on the reasons for not liking.
Not giving space to those who the did photo, look at other possibilities of learning, especially with all of our opinions. I think it will be more motivating for the big and beautiful family of 75 ,
    Have a beautiful day

This is one amazing sky, but I agree with Palapala, maybe if you crop the bottom where the blur is might resolve it, it will also give more emphasis to the clouds. I like the saturation though but maybe if you remove a bit of the red channel those roofs might gain some more definition, unless it's intentional that way. Great photo though, I like it.

I hear you Uno, tried a few tricks actually, i dont think its a great image frankly, but after all that PS work, ended here.
