    Smoke & lit ciggy are totally fake.....which was the whole idea to enhance my concept....not wasted afterall.

    It breaks my heart that the 7D sins didn't go as planned, doing it the way I wanted to be done was going to be much more expensive than I thought and getting everyone under one at the same time was a mission impossible. I apologize again :(

    Great shot mate ... wouldn't have pic'd up the 'shopping of the cig & smoke though. You had me!

    As a matter of interest, do you recall your lighting set-up and your camera settings? Did anything come from the few hours we spent trying things out?

    Hi Daz, yes the hang out did help a lot, especially with catch-light....this was shot at ISO 125, Aperture F8 and Exposure 10/1250 .

    I positioned a lightbox (at half power) and a reflective umbrella at about 45 Degrees and one full power naked strobe to blow up the background.....the other details are scatchy.....Mpumi helped me figure out the dark mark that was caused by on camera flash setting, even though my Sync speed was set okay, the curtain was causing a black mark as the camera shutter/curtain was slower than the external controlled light.
