Hello everybody, it's been another long two weeks, I have not had time to 'effect' the new stuff I want to include here, as it is, I am tying off a project, hopefully I'll be done by tomorrow morning, no friday night drinks for me, :-(
What is to come is a test if this is ready to move from beta to omega. I will be creating what I have phrased simply as, 'Books' on photography. This means for every month to follow (when I do do it) there will be a new title (topic) set out and open to any (registered) person to submit/contribute/share a single photograph to represent their interpretation of a given title. Make sense?
I have also spoken to Yamutsi Yoshikawa and he says Half is willing to help put the 'book' together (read: digital PDF format, saving the trees :-) after the photography has been submitted. I am definitely sure that not all photography submitted will be 'published' in the book, some form of 'quality control' has to be in effect. How and what it will detail is open to suggestions.
Alas, the title for the first book will be: (drum-roll):
typography.
Yay or nay? (title is open to other suggestions you might have)
More details will follow, I'd say in about a week, we hope.
Till Monday.

that is dope, book
how about "the best of" categories maybe including mobile-phone photography or abstract photography... ?
... I am not keen on the 'best of' type thing, because then focus becomes 'who has got what' instead of the focus being 'photography'.
... Abstract photography would be... but hey, there is a lot of months to do a lot of titles. This 'book' thing will happen every month.
Cool ... growth ...
