Omega.

an article.

Hello, everybody!

It is with great pleasure to introduce, omega - the third instalment.  The objective here was to clean up the old design, a lot of things were hanging about, dangling, messing with my obsessive-(dis)order, every pixel must be in place.

Alas, so what have I done.

First and foremost, I wanted to add new type, something much smoother and not as rough as 'Arial', so I have included Georgia (cue: Ray Charles), which I think, almost smooths out the interface, makes it more human, if you will.

Books.

Books, well, not really there, but I am sure you can spot the link at the top.  In probably, 2-4 nights, I'll have the first book open for submissions. With that, I have removed the 'info/help' links and threw them down there (bottom left: cue Jam Alley).

Refresh

Refresh.  The silly looking blue double circular arrow just below login/register or your icon (better yet: top left).  The refresh button (as it will be known) allows you to get an update at any given time (to be honest it just a duplicate of the home page's fresh/dialogue).  It's a short-cut, it's better than going back and forth between a photograph and the home page, (long-draai). (ps: you will need javascript to make it work).

 Profile

I have tried to clean-out the profile page, a little bit.  I swear I need to get help from somebody who can command the English language better than me.  One day, one day.

Advertising

I am still not sure, 'bout throwing advertisements around here, but as my 'hosting provider' will tell you, the bill's need to get paid, 'adawise'.

So, I will be testing out, the Google-Adsense adverts, I will try to make them minimal and un-obtrusive as possible.  If it works, then I might keep 'em.

Somewhere at the back of my mind, the idea of advertisements, sorta, creeps me out.  I am in contradiction about them.

Mara re tla bona.

 Debugging

Okay, now say something does not work, please let me know, via mail, pretty please?

Okay, now I go try forage for food.  Till the next, plug.
