Ah, Eureka!

Okay, that might be misleading.  I found out what happened.  It turns out on the 11th of October, around 10-11am the 'harddisk' was not writeable.  I don't know why, but I'll ask the *nix (a unix/linux OS distribution) guru's I know.

Writeable as in, it was not allowing anything to be copied onto it, that is to say, when somebody uploaded a photograph it was not really copied.  What I don't understand however is that, I was able to see those photographs on that day.

I am lost, but, maybe it's something I need to learn from, like back-up the site, everyday, especially the photographs and the database.  That I will begin to do.

Alas, I think it was me Tebogo Motea and NguJaz who were affected.  NguJaz and I have replaced the photograph's, I've asked (e-mailed) Tebogo Motea to do the same.
