Hello, The Vagina Monologues are looking for creative (not limited to photography) works that inteprete the following:

Feminity and Sexuality of Women

To quote the message I got:

The V-Day campaign is a global initiative that has been established to raise awareness about gender-based violence, particularly violence against women and girls. The initiative aims to raise funding for local beneficiaries, create awareness and inspire action and change through the medium of the arts.

The Monologues and the planned related events will be held from 12 April - 17 April, 2010 at The Baseline in Newtown, Johannesburg. Apart from the Vagina Monologues, other related events that will focus on the issues surrounding violence against women and girls are listed below and will take place during that week:

A Public Debate and Art and Photography Exhibition  (Monday, 12 April)
An Evening of Poetry (Tuesday, 13 April)
Vagina Monologues (Wednesday, 14, Friday, 16 and Saturday, 17)
