75th Annual — Extended.

Hello,

As Diaan noted, we are embarking on a producing and publishing an annual magazine (or book depending on budget):

A collection of photographs of the previous photographic year. The selected photography will be chosen from photographs posted here in the previous 12 months.

Simple, huh?

In order to do so, we need you to nominate your two photographs of the previous year of each 'grapher from 01 September 2011 — 31 August, 2012. You have up until the 1st of December to do so.

So, send us the links to the nominated 'graphs to— hello@75.co.za —with your nominations. Each 'grapher is advised to also nominate their two photographs of the period.  If we do not get enough nominations, it will be automated based on 'love'.

    ok, so just to clarify: i as a 'grapher must:
    1. nominate any 2 photographs over the last year
    2. nominate 2 of my own photographs for the same period?

    I'd like to see unlimited nominations, actually. The more good stuff surfaces, the more good stuff we have to pick the very best from.

    For interest sake, how many photos have been submitted in the last 12 months? Can you say?

    Sadly, I cannot submit anything as I haven't posted on 75 for a year.
    But I'd happily submit previous images for The Annual, if (as Diaan suggests) the nominations were unlimited.

    PS: Is there a reason I haven't been on 75. iPhoneography & Instagram. Mostly. I have barely used my DSLR of late. I'll be back ..
