Took this photo of Mpumi at work today
does the 7D come with HD video?
If so, how well does it do "moving video shooting" — best way I can ask that question.
In essence, what I am trying to ask is: if you are shooting a scene outside of a moving car, can it, 7D, maintain, or does it show images like so: http://flic.kr/p/keVoB ?
dope!
7D is a good camera... it can handle HD videos very well.
this was shoot with a 7D: http://vimeo.com/8191217
Insane shot bois...rad.
aiit, that doesn't answer my question, that vimeo shows work that has gone through post production (after effect, et al), so the results will look as the DOP envisioned.
alas, I'll do some digging.
ta.
Got, the answer:
"The upshot is that verticals can be skewed if the camera (or the subject) moves too fast - the top of the image has been recorded earlier than the bottom, so vertical lines can be rendered as diagonals. On the 7D this effect is, compared to some of the competition and presumably thanks to the Dual Digic 4 processing, pretty subtle." — http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canoneos7d/page19.asp
ait cool man. Do you have a 7D?
Nah, I am plotting to get something better than what I have, 450d — I need hd video on it, hence why I was asking.
Ait from what I know about the HD feature on the 5D II and the 7D is it mostly depend on the CF card speed as well.
