This is really a lovely photo.

In a world were things are not going well, you have to find something to kick - the bigger the better because then you can not miss.

Wonderful shot! I dig some of your work bra do you have any tips you can give me because i want to start photography as a past time.

    daniel

best tip, always carry a camera with you, no matter where you go

lebza --- save yourself --- it's going to consume you --- it will start out as a past time --- and then your entire life will be a past time, and photography will be it.

run, run, run, lola, run (beautiful film --- sometimes I wish I hadn't seen it so, I can go through the 'beautifulness' of it, all over again).

I need a lightweight tripod that can fit into a backpack, any tips there m'phakathi?

    nina sum1

Run Lola Run is a killer film, actually Tom Tykwer just knows how to capture beauty like no other

have you seen 'Perfume: the story of a murderer'?

  6. lebogang nkoane

nina: nope, it appears in my old age --- i tend to chose 'good' over evil, even in film (imaginary platform) --- I can't seem to get myself to watch anything that protrays a murderer and sorta-justifies their actions --- it is weird, when I was young, I was different.

Perfume, I sorta refused to watch it --- I could be wrong on the plot, though --- :(

    nina sum1

i totally agree with you (kinda)
in that film i dont think that the murders were justified in any way!!
but in this case im not talking 'plot' at all
just the imagery...what do film buffs call it again: mis-en-scene?

so have u watched the film LN? have u read the book?

its the weirdest film ive seen-hold-on, i think 'Ken Park' bordered 'weird' too!

  7. lebogang nkoane

    Ken Park was perveted.

and no, I haven't seen the film. I have read the book? err, I don't read, don't read at all.

the most twisted-beautiful-violent film I've ever seen was IRREVERSIBLE (with the oh-so-beautiful Monica Bellucci) -- I know I hired it because I wanted to perv --- but the film is far from that, way, way, way far from 'sexuality'

How it was narrated was what got me excited --- you know that closure films tend to provide so we don't come out of films disturbed (well in some cases anyway) --- with IRREVERSIBLE they achieved that.

    snap'd!

  9. twiggle stix

    Dope shot Jux!

  10. Juxtapose

lebza, point aim and shoot, and you'll get lucky sometimes.

    ta 1 and all

  11. lebogang nkoane

    guess, no tripod tip.

yea, Juxtapose is right: point, aim, shoot [+ share] --- rinse+repeat.

oh and stop using the auto button on the camera, learn about Aperture/Shutter relationships. It will be the best thing you can do when learning about photography.

i was this dude in this pic,
i would be saying to myself, --- " daaamn i must have F*cked up big time man! " --- " otherwise i wouldn't be here"....

ONLY IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!

  13. Juxtapose

i often try not to comment on my own pics (pretenstions of minimalism), but i'm puzzled the above lilji25, hehe, what do you mean?

    nina sum1

i think he is talking bout Mr. president, no?
