- get a completely dark room, preferably with no windows, so there´s no light coming in, even if it´s at night...
- have a torch [pen-light is perfect, by try different sizes]...
- & go wild
i found blak&white more effective for contrast yet try colour too...
the idea in terms of technique was using a controlled light source, hence the torch [if you can´t get around to studio lights]...
