Wow, this is quite the emotional theme. Okay, let's skip the brooding.
This is the first photograph I took with my own camera, and loved. I have been, for the longest time, trying to recapture or recreate it with a difference: I wanted snow, lovers, sun and laughter in the frame. That has not happened and probably will never happen.
Over the years I came to realise that, what I trying to capture was how I was feeling at that moment. It helped me to accept that one cannot create "feelings", but can corrupt and sway a mood in a direction of their choosing.
The sun, the bench, the snow and the merry couple were just a mood that I had seen in on the Silver Screen and in European (Western Canon) photography. I have been trying to abandon such folly teachings.
