This 'pompo' was with my family I think since 1975, but the JoJo came along and it's no longer there.

Molepolole ke motsemagaeng ... north east of Gaborone ... maby 30 minutes, even less ... one of the oldest rural places in Botswana ... All my family originates from there ... From bakwa Khana Rhamapye to Khaboesele ... to Setiko ... xHelephie ...Ya well to Ditjoe ... the other ones I dnt know ...but they are all desendents of the Basarwa(Khoisan) ba kgalagadi and the Indian Merchants in Botswana in the late 1800s (But they ran after) ... the rest of the story I'm still trying to find out ... (My family looks weird) I'm toned down after generations of mixtures ... But I would call myself tswana though ...
Ke ko magaeng but its been mordernised in the past 10 years ... Yeh its very dry ... Botswana is dry thu ... but lots of livestock ... Dipodi le dikgomo ... Batho there have lots of bride of been Batswana ... n speaking tswana ...
I'm going on the 25th my cousin is getting married ... He is only doing one ceremony ... no white wedding ... But they charged him 10 cows ... (around 22 000 SouthAfrican Bones) ... but my uncle got him covered ... he gave him a major discount for all the cows ...

Make that 35 000 SouthAfrican bones. Batswana still take magadi ka dikgomo, something unheard of in most batswana villages mo SA (Mmametlhake, Marapyane, Mathibestad?)
