2. Absence of light

2. Absence of light

This is one of the last photographs I took last week --- I've been 7 days clean --- haven't touched the 'shutter'.

"My name is lebogang nkoane. (note the lower caps)" - a stick-on sticker at Photographer's Anonymous.

*everything looks so pretty without the need to photograph it, I was once blind. (scratches)

    ...and now I see??:-) According to Terry Pratchett, darkness is merely the abscence of light, non-light is the worse stuff because it is its exact opposite. It is what you get if you go through darkness and come through on the other side. I like the photo because I have always struggled to photograph trees.

    memories indeed:

    when Transnet served a decent lunch for a song; Fisher Hoffman & Sithole still got along; and the Atrium would save you a walk that was long...

    (that operates as a yield sign... strangely enough)

    @ru: don't know if I do yet, 14 days to go ---

    on Absence of light ---- that's is exactly what I tell my students, 'black' is not a colour, it's the absence of light --- in fact, it's when light is not 'reflected' back to your eyes, 'to see' ---- and white, is not one colour, but all colours.

    *hides in the confusion.
