...i-2010 ifikile...yeah lets just throw all construction work into that basket huh? umandla u-extenda idladla lakubo - ke2010?!?!?!...

and is there anybody doing logistics within the civil service departments?

i mean, the city gets a pavement upgrade, okay kool, nice...then...week/s later, they change the lights up [digging up the recently upgraded pavement]...you think okay, bright lights, jozi maboneng after all right?...and later they´re installing new bins [further digging up the ´new-ish´ pavement] - keep south afrika clean/beautiful/tidy all that jazz...great...then they replace the old piping [damn near ripping up the whole by now decrepit pavement]...the f@#%!?!?!...

and don´t get me wrong, the developments are hella important & needed [much so, in some areas more than others really]...but this is like complete & utter disregard of logistics...the case of the hand not knowing what the foot is doing or where the headed, is headed...and to make it worse, somebody is getting paid - while the pavement stays wretched and the city works on re-tendering...

great sludge fudge [de]constructive photo opportunities that´s one thing for sure...

*wonders whether the gautrain will be finished in time, for 2010...

LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!

great colour, nice moment and i like how you've treated the shadows.

this is one of those images that truly shows that there are no boundaries between photojournalism and art.

beautiful. Ernest Cole would be proud.
