In all honesty — this: First Time is my virgin shot: the photograph that got me interested in photography but I can't find the original photograph to scan (and thus this is the oldest photograph I have that matters anyway), but (to put that shot into context): I was walking along empire road from Hillbrow to Wits (1997, I think). It was shot where the Gauteng SAPS Headquaters is now.
Through that I realised what kind of photography I enjoy:
Random, obscure, inanimate objects. I think this photograph too emulates this very sentiment.
and I hope my justification is excusable. *batters eyelids
