Un moved

Un moved

Hello,

Of all the things that people gave me as reasons why I wouldn't live in Cape Town, none of them are reasons enough, but there is one thing and one thing only that has cast the move back to Jo-hazardous-burg (november) in stone:

dance music.

That's a rare thing to find in Cape Town: I know yáll got hiphop (on lock btw), dub-step and all that indie wierd beautiful music, but my soul needs dance and it hasn't danced in 4 months,

that is not a way to live.

1ove, moves.

Dance music is a bigger genre that what the wires tell you — house music is a sub-set of dance music — and vudu don't do that.

Just so we all understand what page of dance I am reading (a sample of what I am talking about)

… anything in the line of deep-funky-tribal-progressive (and alternatives of that)

*alas — I have resigned from Cape Town, so I am not in need of places that pump dance muzek — I know where to get my fix in Johannesburg, in the words of Wyclef: … till november.
