Bonjour,
If you will allow me a moment to get this rant off my chest:
… the advent of social media and I supposed spurred on by the portability of data-information(-knowledge?) has flooded me with stuff that is wasting valuable synapses (read: memory).
All I want is narratives, all I want is good stories to read. Do we still tells stories as human beings? Are we now just sharing snippets of our lives? You know those stories that we share at a bar over two or three beers? Stories that are not about 'our lives' but the lives we still living?
You know good stories; stories you re-read; re-look; re-watch; re-look over and over and over again until with your grand kids.
I am not sure if I am making sense — but, seriously, I haven't had a good story in a long time, all I have gotten is opinions (blogs); product reviews and a top-insert-number lists of this or that.
I suppose the phrase is I am gat-vol (f7 that, my Afrikaans ain't that good).
*end of rant — for now;
1ove, iconaclast.
