#MBQ:

… what use is a watermark if it, ahem, waters down the very same thing you are hoping to promote your skill/work?

Yeth-thess some o' 'em watermarks is wack, straight up n' down (bordering on bad graphic design) — if we are here on this platform to appreciate photography and your watermark is part of the artwork, then,

… it too shall be appreciated or depreciated.

1ove, provokes.

Yeah, I said it, I said that ish in Johannesburg, I said it." © Chris Rock

My words might be harsh and most likely upset you, but, those are my sentiments— to sugar coat 'em would be to deny me of a voice to speak my mind, which is a worse crime than bad design.

    *MBQ: mind boggling question.

Thats a very sneaky, cool and beautiful shot mate.

seems a cold, lonely wait -- don't much care for the watermarks; depreciates the whole experience for me

Great photo, love the lines, the textures and contrast but...
...I can imagine something right on that bottom right corner, like: "LEBO INC.", maybe with a little eye logo, with some bling around, slightly skew, kind of in perspective...oh and bright red... (hides)

lol — It wasn't my intent, but yo, I understand the need for watermarks, but not at the expense of the photograph.

*eish, let me leave it at that before I get a beat down.

  14. Fluxd

LMFAO!!! This doesnt even helping ur cause in fact its only fueling it and will surely never leave now. Hahahahahahaha @Uno that was almost perfect description of my logo hahaha my job is done cos you remember it hehehehe. Maybe i shud make my marrk larger lol.

  15. Karabo_Ngoatle

@LN. I think this was intended to be a beat down ::: http://75.co.za/desiree/2011/07/29 *hides

@Fluxd: khokhu moya— it is not "my cause", as you put it, those are my words, this is my sentiment. You are at liberty to do whatever you want to do with your artwork, ipso facto, so is my response to it.

  17. Uno

@Fluxd: Yes, the description was intentional and the name came from another discussion: http://75.co.za/desiree/2011/07/25
And by the way, being remembered for the wrong reasons is not usually a good thing, at least to me, it might be a good publicity stunt but it doesn't make for good art/photography (assuming that to be your aim).

  18. Fluxd

Maybe if you actually took the time to look at what that logo is made up of you would notice something about that and assuming that you knw what the concept was behind someones logo doesnt really make very observant and really i wouldnt care less if you thought it was a bad logo or if it screwed up (my) imagery but the fact of the matter is its never gona stop and infact its my images you are not forced to look at them infact it you guys feel so strongly about this maybe you should start a pertition to ban people from branding their own work. LOL.....
