Pretty lonely shot
May i add that the colors refuse this shot to be total neglect-sorta-shot.
It scares me this shot — to a point where I can't even share what the fear is, but I thought it would be best to put out in public, for some social group therapy.
:-)
"Where have all the children gone?"
LOL!
We have all grown up, now.
I don't understand 'cloned war'? In the context of this pic and the def. of vagabond I take this to mean some sort of loss of space for a life of free pursuit/for self discovery? Where the 9 to 5 has replaced adventure and to an extent stifled growth of spirit? Is cloned war about domestication and a loss of playfullness (pink boots)?
@onelove, I don't know either.
the title, came to mind, the words came after, the photograph came first.
but, in a way, 'cloned, war', some how, with the stretch of the imagination, means, the little battles I have, are part of one single narrative I have with myself — to be a vagabond — each year or rather at every stage of my life, I battle the same thing, over and over again.
The boots, is an extension of a metaphor or phrase, I think is in the Bible: put on your best pair of sandles and walk your path (paraphrased) — again, to venture out, to travel.
aside, the boots original colour is not pink, but brown — don't know how and what the lense+filter did to the colours.
:-)
Hmm vagabond as both existential life philosophy and physical pursuit...reminds me of Herman Hesse. In his stories the vagabond (usually a spiritual seeker of sorts) usually goes through quite a bit of personal struggle as part of his search for The Way? Consciousness? so sounds like you're on track : )
