An era

Hello,

… begins — I am going to start fucking up my composition of photographs. There is something, emotional, missing that I want my photography to communicate through. I think, composition and not treatment is the way forward.

Oh, I will also no-longer use the iPhone, I'll stick with the DSLR. I think social-media has eroded something essential in photography, I can't pin my mind on it, yet, but something.

1ove, dissolves.

Nice, i always find it hard to shoot sunsets.I over expose most of the time.

  6. Sthe Ngcobo

@Lebogang: I was asking if you dropped the ISO and white balance?

  7. lebogang nkoane

err, my photography is a good a the South Africa chairing the AU.

So, I didn't drop anything, but in light room, I moved the white-balance thing towards the right and that was it.

    @ Lebogang:

Holiday was great! It's a pity we didn't go for that walk around Maputo...
Just to tempt you (or maybe not) I'll upload some photos of the place, although subjected to interruptions, things are crazy at the moment, stacks of work...

It will be interesting to see the shift in your composition and how you bring an emotion in one single frame.VERY INTERESTING SIR.

  11. lebogang nkoane

I hope so, otherwise, I'd have to find something else as a hobby. Beauty no longer fascinates me in photography, I want something else, and I think, it is emotion that I seek to capture.

A quest, it will be, maybe I'll learn a few more other things along the way.

  12. Mphela

    Big ass smile...

  13. lwazi hlophe

    The quest for the unknown?

  14. lebogang nkoane

Unknown to me, at the very least.

Or, a quest, to affirm what I already know — assuming, I end up finding nothing I do not know, already.

    Gud!

i figured out y for me its cause being on twitter, facebook and bbm has certain trends every week and like twitter you follow, to have your own independent thought lessens.... u find yourself thinking 'what im about to tweet feels like its been tweeted before." And what you about to capture is inline with wat you've read, no longer do you capture according to the situation....
