Sneak Peak

Sneak Peak

I'm so embarrassed to be a South African darkie right now what with the violence toward the Zimbos (if that's politically correct/polite, I'm not the sharpest fool in the shed so please excuse my ignorance). I mean it's disgusting how we treat them in their time of need when they welcomed those going into exile back in the day... so sad so sad

WOW, this looks like the beginning of the end of days.
    fresh pic loy!

    daniel

    love the rays...

agree with you on the Zim situation, but then again I think Mbeki's action has summed up his whole time in office, drunken antics and little consideration for anyone but him and a few select people.

As for Mugabe, damn.. talk about a dictator trying to hang on...

well, unfortunately the ugly face of xenophobia has not only affected Zimbabweans exclusively; but Mozambicans, Somalis, Ethiopians and many other foreign nationals who venture out here.

A lack of education is largely to blame, in my reckoning...

  5. æ

    great pic!!

  6. seilatsatsi

    dope pic jo.

i think part of the reason that sa people are treting foreigners like this is because for ages we have had to be segregated on our own land and illtreated that when others come and somewhat invade our space we turn on them. personally i dont think its a good thing and most are on the tip that these ppl shud just go back and fight for their country but given the situation what can they possibly do but look for survival in their neighbouring countries.

    just my thots!!

    I agree a.e.

Ignorance is a weapon of mass distruction.

man these are frightning times...but the shot, as I've stated before 'hole into heaven' I call 'em...love to love them

Sad situation, it really is. It's even sadder than refugees are being treated like shit here, there is no need for it. People who do abuse legitimate refugees and asylum seekers are no better than the dictators who are doing the damage in the first place.

As for the image, reminds me of a movie scene, with the select rays beaming down on the houses, like they have been picked from the heavens

many countries across the continent sacrificed a lot towards SA's liberation whilst they were engaged in their own liberation struggles.

Camps were set up all across the continent and training was provided amongst other necessities, at the expense of the locals there; but they saw it as nothing less than lending a hand to fellow Africans.

SA has a lot to be thankful for... instead a lot is taken for granted, and fellow Africans are all that is sacrificed.

    Makes my blood boil.

It would be interesting to compare presidential terms; past and present and see what impact different individuals had in their various states.

Perhaps a comparison across the globe as well, and see how SA statesmen, past and present compare(d).

And just out of interest, how would any of you 75er's have handled the "situation" in Zimbabwe... as a Head of State in SA?

  10. yizzi25

    i like the pic,

ya, eish... it's scary what's happenin in zim with Mugabe persisting on to become president once again,,, Yoh, Yoh, Yoh, ,,,
Can't somebody make him understand that his generation of Kak old leader is long gone? what is he still waiting for?
