The problem I always find is not with ideas or convictions, both can be converted into data and can have a very convincing appearance,as long as you don't try to fool yourself: ideas are open horizons and convictions are walls (and when you try to blend one with the other you creat a maze).
Emotions can't be translated into data, as much as we try to, there are too many dimensions in it and whenever it gets too intelectualized we narrow them and something gets lost... the closer we can get to register them is through art, which brings more questions than answers.
