khutsana ea lesotho*

khutsana ea lesotho*

my uncle just sent me this pic from home after i harassed him for it.  this my grandmother, me and my cousins.  this pic just made my day, if not my year. its tough seeing old pics of yourself and attempt to retrace your steps. but i dont think we lose who we truly are from those days despite what we go through in the years following...wish my grandmother was still alive.

    Grandma's beautiful.

Always interesting how looking back, particularly at grandparents, one remembers when everything was good and wholesome; before The De-Generation... (but there were some serious asswhippins that went with it all!)

lol! seilatsatsi, you and ante elias sound like you were naughty grandchildren; i never got much whipping from my gran, although i have seen her transfer all types of torture instruments on my younger nephews and nieces, like the pink fly swatter-all i know is that in my day and to this day my gran is the coolest mama i know!

no one really. but in terms of lesotho and i, id say nna. got the title from a song which takes on the old govt of ntate ntsu mokhetle. singer terms himself as a "khutsana" without correct leadership. sometimes i feel like that. maybe life would be easier if my grandmother was still alive. not maybe. for sure.
