    qooooi. love the potrait!!

@ daniel. "ba re e ne re" is a term used to start a folk tale when an elder tells it to the kids or who ever. the response to that wud be "qoooi".

    daniel

aaah ok, now it makes sense

    makhaya - love the commentary.
one so identifies with the explanantion of how sound effects are made in story-telling.
i miss those days - where you'd look into your mom's eyes - gripped by not just the story but the sound effects, the movement, the dancing......and that imagery lives in your mind, alive as ever.

  14. loymad

ante THANK YOU! i actually thought of doing that and finally let the cat out the bag. shes not the model on the last pic you listed. he is in another shot as well, but they meet here: http://75.co.za/makhaya/2008/03/29
    this is also her: http://75.co.za/makhaya/2008/02/21

ya, so the moral of the comment is that im indebted to her. shes a fantastic model. patient, because i know i bother her. ive put up some self portraits. but (crying) someone (crying) said (crying) that (sobbing) it (sniffling) was (sniffle) HORRIFIC! just joking, i meant for it to be.

@ante elias, it's going well, I need to get me a good audio book or something, but that's not the easiest thing to find. Printed books are ok, but if it's on my iphone, then I have a better chance of learning.
