the name of this specific squatter camp in Mitchell's Plain was given to a field overgrown with bush, gangsters and drugs when the people decided clear it, and move in on the day of our first election.
devoid of freedom.... it is the most obvious example of that yes, it is evident.but at the same time, is freedom the ability to take out a loan to buy a house? where is this elusive freedom?
are we looking for it in the wrong places?
i would love to hear your thoughts?
