i think it's a type of weed. could be wrong, but there's this wild plant that grows, called a 'blackjack'- has prickly, black things that stick on clothes? so anyway, after the 'spiky things' fall off i think this is what is left. could be wrong.
but yeah, it's great how you got the fluff texture of the plant. it's a very fragile thing that. great pic!
