Mafikeng Station is the junction of the north-south Cape mainline to Botswana and points to the north, and the rail line from Krugersdorp.
This structure is made of steel frame, tin roofing and some large windows.
Three storeys high, its largest and oldest Mokuku/shanty in town.
In the past, it use to be store for the locomotive repair shop and industrial cargo, now it houses panelbeaters/chop shop and cattle feed.
